Mont de la Chambre mountainside
The ski slopes of Les Menuires can be found on both the La Masse side of the mountain and the Mont de la Chambre side. It has to be said, the Mont de la Chambre mountainside is fabulous. Ideal for enjoying the afternoon sun, these slopes are your gateway to the 3 Vallées ski area and offer direct access to Val Thorens, Méribel and Saint-Martin.
It also has plenty of mountain restaurants, a wide variety of slopes and fun areas for all skiing levels and an incredible view of Mont Blanc from the top of the Mont de la Chambre chairlift. Let’s take a closer look!
3 Vallées sectors and links
The Mont de la Chambre mountainside is also your passage to the rest of the 3 Vallées ski area. There are a number of sectors on this mountainside:
- Named after the summit of the same name, the legendary Mont de la Chambre sector gives you direct access to the ski slopes of Méribel and Val Thorens.
- From the Roc des 3 Marches/Becca sector, where you’ll find the Pixel Area, you can also go down to Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, or cross to Méribel
- The Tougnète sector offers the tranquillity and spectacular scenery of the Saint-Martin ski area, not forgetting Cherferie and Roc de Fer if you go via Méribel
This mountainside also has the added bonus of the fun areas: not only the Pixel Area where you can perfect your style in the snowpark, but also the boardercross slope where you can challenge your friends. Here you’ll also find a Liberty Ride slope where you can ski safely on ungroomed snow.
Great places to eat
The Mont de la Chambre mountainside also has some fabulous spots where you can stop for a bite to eat! There’s something to keep everyone happy, whatever your preference: the special atmosphere of the chill zone in the Pixel Area, a restaurant meal and music at the Sunny chalet or the Roc Seven, or even the Roc 1 picnic area for a nice quiet break.
