Following an intervention by the ski patrol in the Les Menuires or 3 Vallées ski areas, certain steps are required to ensure the appropriate follow-up and cover for the services provided. This page explains what you need to do.

After an intervention by the ski patrol, certain formalities are required to process your case and cover any rescue costs. The procedure to follow depends on your insurance cover:
- Carré Neige insurance: costs are covered and you don't have to pay anything up-front, provided you submit proof of this insurance cover and the required documents.
- Personal insurance: you will need to report the incident to your insurance company within 48 hours. Depending on your policy, you can request a payment guarantee, or advance payment can be made online.
- If you're unsure about your insurance cover, check what you are entitled to (Carré Neige, bank card, home or travel insurance, etc.) and follow the appropriate steps.
